Associate Clinical Professor at Yale University Medical School Department of Psychiatry
Dr. Okasha has been and is involved in treating patients and is conducting research trials. He has also been teaching medical students, residents, and physician assistant students at Yale since 1977.
Dr. Okasha has lectured extensively, on numerous topics and has published in the psychiatric field.
Throughout his career, Dr. Okasha has been involved in medical affairs locally (President of the Medical Staff and Chief of Psychiatry at William W. Backus Hospital where he is an attendant), New London County Medical Association, and statewide with the Connecticut State Medical Society IPA. Intermittently was advisor to World Psychiatric Congress in Cairo Egypt.
