Marek Kukulka received his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Joseph College, West Hartford in 1995 and is licensed with the State of Connecticut as a Marriage and Family Therapist.

He specializes in the treatment of children, adults, couples and families dealing with a variety of mental and emotional disorders, including depression, anxiety, compulsive behaviors, adjustment, anger, disruptive behavior, stress management, and various forms of abuse. He also works extensively with clients experiencing a wide range of difficulties and transitions, including self-esteem, grief and loss, communications and relationship difficulties, premarital and marital counseling, infidelity, divorce, remarriage, step-family issues, parenting issues, and matters of spirituality and faith.

His approach to treatment involves helping individuals and families identify issues that are affecting them; improve communication and problem-solving; learn new and more effective ways of feeling, thinking, and responding to life’s difficulties.  With compassion and understanding, he works with each of his clients to help them build on their strengths and achieve the personal growth resulting in happier, healthier and more meaningful life.
